This blog is about the importance of being grateful but before I dig into that – first I want to get into this phenomenon called the Bucket List. If you’ve never heard of that one, go find out by starting here. Have fun.
This is not about my Bucket List.
I never created one as in written one down.
This is about My Gratitude List.
There is a simple reason for wanting to draft up My Gratitude List.
The power of gratitude is simply amazing.
Being grateful is humbling.
Gratitude and truly feeling it, opens our heart.
Let’s start with a poem
I thank You God for this most amazing
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday; this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any–lifted from the no
of all nothing–human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

My Gratitude List is endless
This list is just the beginning. If I were to spend my entire life writing down all I am grateful for, I would not get any work done.
My list is endless.
I’m grateful for Mother Nature, for my dog, my grandparents, friends, loved ones and lovers, books I’ve read, hikes I’ve made and on and on I could go.
